Early Head Start: Food Collection
Miss Mollie's Food Pantry
Early Head Start is a program that offers support to low-income families. Their goal is to support the physical, mental, and intellectual health of young kids so that they have a good start on learning and growing into healthy individuals. They provide a diversity of services for low-income families such as child care, educational services, resources for having a healthy pregnancy, and access to a food and household supplies pantry. For more information about Early Head Start, visit their website.
Grace collects food and hygiene supplies for Miss Mollie's Food Pantry. Each month, Early Head Start workers pick up these items that have been collected at Grace over the course of the last few weeks. At Grace, we love supporting programs like Early Head Start that strive to make a difference in our community. We want to love our neighbors in any way we can, and by partnering with the work of other organizations, we can make our reach go far.
If you want to make a donation, you can bring food to the church and place it in the bin labeled "Miss Mollie's Food Pantry" in the narthex, on the right hand door of the fridge downstairs, or on the shelves marked "EHS" in the downstairs kitchen. The next collection day is Sunday, February 16.
